How to price an HVAC invoice: flat rate or time and materials
Service work is billed one of two ways. Flat-rate (book) pricing charges a set price per task no matter how long it takes, which reassures the customer up front, while time and materials bills actual hours plus parts, which suits diagnostics and odd faults.
